Brazing Operator Qualification Testing
Brazing operator qualification tests are carried out in accordance with the PN-EN ISO 13585 standard.
In Poland, the institutions authorised to conduct examinations and issue certificates for brazing operators include, among others, the Office of Technical Inspection, the Welding Institute and TÜV. Due to our accredited certifications, the results of our tests are recognised by the most important certification bodies in Poland and worldwide.
Joints produced during the practical examination are subjected to both non-destructive and destructive testing to confirm the skills and competence of the brazing operator.
When selecting the testing method, the full context of the examination must always be taken into account. It is recommended to assess the benefits of applying a specific method in relation to the results obtained from other testing techniques. The best approach is to choose the method or combination of methods that is most appropriate for the intended purpose. The most commonly used testing methods are visual testing (VT) and macroscopic examination, which enable the assessment of both the external and internal structure of the joint.
