General Environmental Noise Assessments
Our company also performs environmental noise measurements originating from machinery, equipment, installations, and industrial facilities (in accordance with the requirements of Annex No. 7 of the Regulation of the Minister of Climate and Environment of 7 September 2021 – excluding item F).
Environmental noise measurements are carried out separately for daytime and nighttime, based on typical operation of the facility, and the noise generated by the installation is assessed in relation to the existing acoustic background.
Noise as an environmental pollutant is one of the most significant issues today. By monitoring environmental conditions (e.g., traffic noise) and controlling business activities (industrial noise), we contribute to reducing this threat. Environmental standards for industrial noise are determined individually in local land use and zoning plans for a given area and vary depending on the type of land use - different for multi-family residential areas, different for single-family housing areas, as well as for hospital and care home zones. Permissible noise levels for traffic noise in Poland are also defined with regard to the specific characteristics of each area.
