Welder Qualification Testing

Welder qualification tests are carried out in accordance with the PN-EN ISO 9606 standards.
In Poland, the institutions authorised to conduct examinations and issue welder certificates include, among others, the Office of Technical Inspection, the Welding Institute and TÜV. Due to our accredited certifications, the results of our tests are recognised by the most important certification bodies in Poland and worldwide.
Welder examinations in Poland are conducted in compliance with the following standards:
- PN-EN ISO 9606-1 – Fusion welding – Steels
 - PN-EN ISO 9606-2 – Fusion welding - Aluminium and aluminium alloys
 - PN-EN ISO 9606-3 – Fusion welding - Copper and copper alloys
 - PN-EN ISO 9606-4 – Fusion welding - Nickel and nickel alloys
 - PN-EN ISO 9606-5 – Fusion welding - Titanium and titanium alloys; Zirconium and zirconium alloys
 - PN-EN 287-6 – Fusion welding - Cast iron welding
 
Welded joints produced during the practical examination are subjected to non-destructive and destructive testing in order to confirm the welder’s skills and competence.
