Ultrasonic Testing with Phased Array Technique
We invite you to take advantage of our professional testing services. We specialize in Phased Array techniques - an advanced diagnostic method that enables accurate, non-invasive, and effective testing of materials and structures to identify flaws, defects, cracks, and to assess the quality of components. The Phased Array method is based on the use of ultrasound generated by a multi-element probe with a controlled delay system.
What is Phased Array testing?
During Phased Array testing, a special ultrasonic probe equipped with multiple small transducers is placed on the surface of the material under examination. These transducers generate and receive ultrasonic waves that travel through the material. The data is then collected and processed by a flaw detector, which converts it into ultrasonic images for further interpretation.
By manipulating the angle and amplitude of the ultrasonic beam, the Phased Array technique allows for various effects - such as focusing the beam on a specific area or generating complex wave patterns that enable thorough material analysis.
The received ultrasonic data is then analyzed by specialists who can identify defects, cracks, flaws, or other irregularities within the material. The results obtained through Phased Array testing are highly accurate, allowing for informed decisions regarding repair actions or the quality assessment of structural elements.
