OES Spectrometry
OES (Optical Emission Spectrometry) is an advanced analytical technique that allows for precise determination of the chemical composition of steel. The atoms are excited by an electrical spark. A solid sample fragment is required for the analysis.
FAAS Metal Composition Analysis
FAAS (Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrometry) is another advanced technique used in chemical composition testing of metals. It is applied when the tested sample is in the form of powder or chips. In such cases, the sample is dissolved using mineral acids, and the analysis is then performed on the resulting solution.
